forced breaks, heartaches
it happens more often nowadays when I have to really give myself a break. i always am in the middle of studying or listening to long 4 hour straight lectures and just can't help but drift away, i always space out lately and my sleep-wake cycle is very much not a circle anymore but more of a crooked line. I get sleep whenever I can, even if i can't. I just need the sleep. 2 more months before the end of the schoolyear.
-----
my only past time nowadays is making sure i get to watch all the series that i really enjoy. I have quite a long list, as written from the previous post I think. I just download them and watch them whenever I can. I guess today is one of those days. I had a Honey and Clover marathon and am really enjoying it. I think it's safe to assume that this is one of my 5 most favorite anime of all time (not that i have the other 4, prolly deathnote)
here are a few of my favorite quotes (till ep 10):
"i wonder how you're supposed to give up. Do you just decide accordingly and move further and further away from what my heart wants? then, will i forget everything someday? everything including the pain through my heart... without a trace as if there was nothing to begin with"
- Ayumi
"why do i feel uneasy? i always have to think and choose my words carefully...and even then...i can't say it..." - Takemoto
"although they say that a girl becomes more beautiful when she falls in love... it's not true for guys." - Mayama

i'd watch the next more episodes if not for my friday exams.
-----
did i mention? i got my GE CB passes already. I have one extra. I'll post it here next week to be sure that everyone who has CB passes have their CB passes. I'll post screenshots soon too.
-----
today is Valentine's Day and it's a really weird day hat sometime I could just hate it. It's a day where people's emotions are heightened. You are either too happy or too sad. Hearts and Heartbreaks are commonplace, not to mention flowers and leaves scattered around the campus.
Today, i think i got the "happy" side of Valentines. A lot of my friends have been on the other side. It's definitely a weird day. People do stuff, either driven by the atmosphere surrounding them or by their own personal feelings, but tomorrow is a different day and not most people regard the next few days into consideration leading them to act outside their normal selves. I may be one of them, but i guess that's how Valentine's is. It affects everyone. It's contagious and chronic. The day may be over, but whatever happened on that day will continue on for the next tomorrows.
Happy Valentines Day everyone!

what I've done for the weekend
Watched the following:
Naruto ep 220- new season starts next week. The filler episode has just ended and it was great, but even better is that the next season (two and a hald years later) is about to start. Last episode ends with Naruto leaving the village with Jiraiya for training.
Bleach ep 114- the new season has just started, this is probably the 4th episode from the new arc. In this episode, Ichigo battles the Arrancar but at the same time, he is in constant battle with his stronger evil side. The last 5 minutes of the episode was definetely the most exciting part, see for yourself.
D-Gray Man ep 7 - Well, I was only supposed to see the first few episodes of the anime, but I'm starting to see potential from this Anime.
Honey and Clover ep 4 - just the same, I've just started watching this and it starts out okay but eventually comes out great. I've begun adicted to it and instead of waiting for Animax for the next episodes, I started downloading the entire season 1. After that is season 2. I have a long way.
Death Note ep 16 - I've yet to download 17 which is the latest, but 16 proves to be another great episode from Death Note. Well,. most episodes are really great but this one is extraordinary, things totally unexpected happen.
Grey's Anatomy ep 15 - One of the best episodes so far (well every episode has been great), but this episode strays away from the usual drama and reverts back to the more medical aspect of the show. It's too great that the story continues till next episode.
Heroes ep 12 - another nice episode, especially the last 1 minute. You should watch it. Heroes is about a group of individuals who has gained supernatural abilities like flight, telekinesis, telepathic, spontaneous regeneration, space-time bending, etc. It gets better as you go on.
Played:
Scions of Fate - a nice looking game, but it got boring at the start. It has very slow exp gain and I just didn't like the character customization. Maybe because I'm just starting, or they're just starting, but still I don't see it as a game for long time playing. I uninstalled it later.
Granado Espada eng ver - this is the official GE for Philippines, I downloaded the entire 9 parts and installed the HUGE game after. I can't play it though since I don't have CBT passes. Oh well. I didn't uninstall it since the DLing of the game took me the entire day.
Granado Espada jp ver - to quench my thirst for GE, I downloaded the Japanese version of the game. I'm still downloading it now and I still have 2 hours to go. I'm not sure if this will work, but I was able to register so I guess I'm good to go. I'll keep you updated on what happened to me.
Music:
Boys Like Girls Album - I saw them featured on MTV yesterday and I thought they are a band that does my type of music: alternative, emo, punk type. I haven't listened through their album yet, but I'm about to.
Cute is what we aim for - another great band. Their song just made it to CD USA's top 10 and it's really good. I've listened through their album and I already have personal favorites. I'll make sure to buy their album soon.
School:
I'm not sure why I included this but come on now, this is part of my weekend, probably part of most of my weekend. I studied for Med 1 pracs, I need to perfect the abdominal PE examination to make it good with my grades. Patho exams on the Hepatobiliary System, I hate Patho. I've yet to study for Pedia, Prev Med, OB and Pharma, all of which I have exams for this week. Oh yeah, we also have to present a case on Tuberculosis on thursday. My subsecmates are gonna do that for me, I'm just going to present. Hehe. Another hell week for us 2nd years.
I just posted the AMSA exhibit layout since I am in charge of the exhibit for AMSA (Asian Medical Students Association). I think it got approved by our president, all I need now is a letter so I could get the things I need and designs of course from my co-members.
Good luck to me this week.
Life:
Valentines is coming and I'm trying to make plans. TRYING. My friend's birthday on Tuesday, we haven't got plans for that too. Oh, and I just went to DFA and got my passport renewed. Almost too sure, I'm leaving for Japan on March 27, day after my comprehensive exams for medschool.
Another week for me then. Darn this is tiring. I always thought this is fun but as the day goes by, the fun part just fades away. Can't blame me though, you give your entire energy into making it good, but whatever you do, you still fail. Not always though. That's life. xD

frustrations on CBT; fascinations on H&C
I have been waiting for this game for 6 months and now that the game is near opening, the frustrations are getting stronger. What game? What else? Granado Espada! The game is really beautiful and I was in awe when I first saw it featured in MTV. The game has beautiful graphics with a vast and highly detailed world to explore. The game has a nice soundtrack, sort of a mix of baroque influences with an orchestra appeal to it. It's storyline is pretty simple and straightforward, but what really awed me the most was the new gameplay system. In this MMORPG, the player is able to control characters simultaneously. Of course, I do not know how it exactly works, something about an incredible AI program and Macro system, but the hell with it, I want to play the darn game.
Here are some screenies from the korean website:

Anyways, the reason why I can't play the game is that I haven't received the CBT ID pass yet. They started sending the pass on the last week of January and I've yet to receive mine. Maybe it's punishment for me sending 4 different email accounts when I applied to CBT. Oh well.
------
I never thought I'd have this one on the first day of my blogging, but this here deserves just that. Really at first it didn't appeal to me much since I always see the parts which talks about nonsense. But when you start watching it, as in really watching it, you see how great this series it, making it one of the best anime series all time.
Honey and Clover is a story about college students going through life as struggling young artists as they deal with life, inspiration and love. The lives of Yuuta, Moriyama, Mayama, Hagumi and Ayumi are the main focus point of the story. Each one has their own story, where each one's story revolves around another main character's story.
Currently airing is the second season of Honey and Clover and just lately, Honey and Clover the Movie was released. I'll see the movie when they get the subs done. I haven't finished watching the entire first season but once I do, I'm sure to feature this great series.

Many can relate to the events that revolve these characters as they watch their lives mirror in the varying personalities of the main casts, only in a more exaggerated sense. There are tear jerking moments, real laughs and emotional involvement once you get to watch Honey and Clover. Honey and Clover does not promise to inspire you and give you answers in real life problems, but they do make sure that you become involved with their lives, facing the same challenges as they do. This is a must watch series.

Death Note
"The Human whose name is written in this note shall die."

It's not as dark as it seems but Death Note is definitely one of the best japan imported movie this year. Or should i say movies? Death Note the Movie has two parts, the 2nd one a sequel from the first. I haven't watched the 2nd movie since I haven't seen anything with English subs, and i don't want to spoil the story since I'm also watching the anime version.
Death Note is the story of a High School Student named Light Yagami who happened to have picked up a black notebook. This black notebook happens to be the Death Note which was owned by the Death God Ryuk. As the story goes, Light uses the Death Note to kill criminals of sorts until his activities
are tracked by a talented detective known as L. Since Light's Death Note requires a name and a face to kill and L needed evidence to convict Light as "Kira", a battle of wits had begun.
Here's a torrent of the Death Note Movie Part 1:
Death Note Movie Part 1
I'm not sure if that's the right torrent that I downloaded before, but I'm sure that that is the one with the english subtitles. I hope you like it.
And if you want to see trailers and pic, this is the official japanese warnerbros site for Death note. Don't worry, the main menu is in english. The content isn't though. ^^
If you want to know more about Death Note, here's a nice site for the anime version:
Death-Notes.com
You can read episode synopses and download from there from all Death Note episodes (as of now, there are 17 episodes all in all, the series in on-going). You can also download the manga version. They have a gallery and forums to sink you Death Note obsessions into. I may feature the anime version soon in this blog.
Once I watch the 2nd movie, I'll be sure to make another blogpost for that one. xD

Sunday Sun Days' First Entry
2:45pm
Saturday, Feb 10 2007
First blog post ever. Just something I've been pondering about lately. It's not that i don;t have anything to do lately, it's just that I needed somewhere to place my thoughts and memories.
Sunday Sun Days is everything that comes to my mind every Sunday, the only day I consider my free day. I'm a medicine student, active in my org and 21 years old. I have lots of things I want to do but can't get it out of my head owing to the fact that my studies are my first priorities. Which is why I'm dedicating Sundays to myself (unless of course a year from now when I'll be having my hospital shifts almost everyday including Sundays and Holidays).
I'll try my best to keep this updated weekly, probably on Sunday or Saturday, or whenever I have a free time. I'll just try to compile the materials which I'll be posting soon. Know more about me in the next few weeks, I'll be reading your posts.
